Shhhhhhh look, listen and observe,

She whispered, how dare you describe me with such words?

Who are you to judge me when you don’t even know my name?

Come to think of it, aren’t all sins measured just the same?

I go day by day thinking to myself,

Why do people like you always have bad things to say about people like me but yet not yourself?

Is it your job to judge or criticize?

Have you ever tried getting to know beyond the eyes?

Do you ever think for a second that this isn’t who I am?

Would it kill you to take the time out to know the story beyond what you see?

That this person isn’t me,

Just like you did, my aspiration was to go to college to get a degree.

Be successful and independent, simply stress free

But life don’t always go the way you want,

Especially having so much people above you telling you that you can’t

Don’t we all have dreams?

Just that, not everyone’s dream comes through

I do aspire to be a better me,

I think you should try working on being a better you too.
